Crisp, Refreshing White Wine from the Roman Hills

Castel de Paolis Campo Vecchio Bianco White Wine

From the celebrated and historic Castel de Paolis comes a distinctive white blend made from native varietals Malvasia Bianca di Candia and Malvasia del Lazio, blended with 20% Viognier. The hand-harvested fruit comes from 25 year-old vines, with strict viticultural maintenance practices used to limit vigour in the highly fertile, mineral-rich volcanic soils in the hills just south of Rome.

The wine was aged in stainless steel tanks for approximately six to eight months prior to bottling. A refreshing and aromatic wine, the Campo Vecchio offers citrus, tropical fruit and white floral notes. On the palate, it is dry with a round mouthfeel, balanced by distinct purity, minerality and length. An excellent companion for seafood, white meat and vegetables.
