Aromas of plum, liquorice, blackberry and spice on the nose, with a velvety, full, round texture. The Matteo I° spends two years in barrel before subsequent aging in bottle. This wine will continue to drink at its peak from now until at least 2030. A fantastic match for grilled meat, hearty soups, lasagne or fillet of beef with Porcini mushrooms.
