Thicker skins and bigger berries impart the same health benefits as Sardinian Cannonau. Brilliant ruby red in the glass, the palate is smooth yet spiced with a persistent deep red fruit flavour. Notes of raspberry, violet, wild rose and hints of feijoa. A great accompaniment to pasta and risotto dishes with meat sauces or grilled meats.
