From Trentino Alto-Adige (Sud-Tyrol) in Italy's north-east, where the stunning backdrop of the Dolomite Alps sets the scene for the production of arguably some of Italy's finest white wines. Gewurztraminer is native to this region. From 8-15 year old vines in selected high altitude sites around Bolzano. Cold macerated before pressing with five months aging on lees in stainless steel tanks.
Full-bodied, aromatic white wine, straw to golden yellow in the glass with delicate fresh and fruity aromas with floral accents and hints of rose petal, lychee, pineapple and citrus. Well-balanced wine with a touch of minerality. Goes well with fish starters, spicy Asian cuisine or as an aperitif.
