The €œlittle rascal € of Piedmont, as the name translates, is not often seen in Australia, however, it is an excellent match for Tertini €™s Yaraandoo vineyard near Berrima. High natural acidity from this cool climate, relatively high-altitude location ensures a clean finish and medium-term cellaring potential. In the glass, the wine is pale lemon with aromas of apple and stonefruit, followed by savoury almond and subtle vanilla notes on the palate. A great alternative to Chardonnay that will complement seafood and poultry. (Vintage not as pictured.)
