Cavazza Bocara Gambellara Classico DOC is a distinctive single-varietal white crafted from 100% Garganega, grown on the volcanic hills of the historic Gambellara zone in Veneto. Sourced from one of the estate’s original vineyards dating back to 1928, the wine reflects both heritage and terroir, with mineral-rich soils of basalt and tuff shaping its character. The grapes are hand-harvested and gently pressed, with fermentation carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve freshness and purity. A short ageing period on lees followed by bottle refinement enhances texture while maintaining the wine’s vibrant, fruit-driven profile.
In the glass, Bocara shows a brilliant straw-yellow colour with subtle green and golden hues. The bouquet is elegant and mineral, with delicate notes of elderflower, white fruit and hints of citrus. On the palate, it is crisp, dry and finely balanced, with a lively acidity and a distinctive savoury edge derived from its volcanic origins. The finish is clean and persistent, marked by a gentle bitter almond note that adds complexity and structure, making it an excellent match for seafood, vegetable dishes and light Mediterranean cuisine.
