Verdeca is one of Puglia's indigenous grape varieties known for maintaining good acidity in hot conditions. Light to medium-bodied with a crisp and refreshing profile, the Cuccimanne Verdeca offers a clean and zesty palate with prominent notes of green apple and citrus. Ideal with seafood, grilled vegetables and soft cheese. This is an excellent chose for a pre-dinner aperitivo.
Cuccimanné is the abbreviated name used in Salento for the cutrettola, a small bird often found among the Verdeca vines.
