Guerra Albano is a true boutique estate of just 10 hectares in Friuli’s Colli Orientali, lovingly tended by third-generation winemaker Dario Guerra and his family. Grapes are grown in vineyards featuring the region’s famous ponca soils—ancient strata of marl and sandstone that impart striking minerality, freshness and structure to the wines. Every vine is worked by hand with meticulous attention to detail, reflecting the family’s philosophy that great wine is made in the vineyard.
