This mixed pack features 3 styles of red wine from Tertini Wines, with sites in both New South Wales and Tasmania's Coal River Valley.
2019 Tertini 'Private Cellar Collection' Lagrein
From Tertini's Yaraandoo site in the Southern Highlands, running alongside 200 year old gum trees, their four rows of Lagrein continue to bear excellent results. This full-bodied wine shows dark berry and herbal aromas, with an intense, concentrated palate. It spent 9 months in an old French barrique. Great with beef and lamb. A rare variety, with impressive structure that will make it an excellent investment for the cellar.
2021 Tertini Tasmanian Pinot Noir
The fruit for Tertini's Tasmanian Pinot Noir comes from the pristine environment and rich, ancient soils of the Coal River Valley, just north of Hobart. With long, sun-filled days, low rainfall and cool breezes from the Tasman Sea, Tertini's Marengo Farm provides ideal growing conditions for premium cool climate wines. The 2021 Pinot Noir vintage in Southern Tasmania was very high in quality, producing excellent flavour and acidity. Vibrant aromas of red and black cherries weave through a complex array of red fruits and spice. Fine tannins and a clean acid line provide length on the finish. Tertini's 2018 Tasmanian Pinot Noir won the Trophy for 'Best Pinot Noir' in the 2019 Australian Pinot Noir Challenge.
2018 Tertini 'Private Cellar Collection' Nebbiolo
The 2019 Tertini Private Cellar Collection Nebbiolo is crafted from high quality, cool-climate fruit grown in the Hilltops Region of NSW. An aromatic blend of berries and spices gives way to the earthy and refined taste of this Riserva-style wine, aged in hogsheads and puncheons for eighteen months before its release. A customer favourite in The Restaurant Pendolino. Elegant, structured and savoury.
